System refresh means by copying one system data (all clients data) we are setting up another system.

Client refresh : 2 types

Copying a client from the same system (local clientcopy)

Copying a client from another system (remote client copy.

So, main differnece between system refresh and client refresh is "In client refresh, we copy only particular client where as in system refresh, we copy all clients i.e whole database data).

Hope it is clear now!

DurgaPrasad said...

Sure..will post an article on system refresh soon

Do fresher's get job after doing SAP Certification course ??
This question is Not Answered.
Shathyan Raja Shathyan Raja Jan 27, 2014 4:37 AM
Hi Everyone,

I would like to know whether companies hire freshers who have done SAP Course.

Im Shathyan from Bangalore, who has completed B.E in Computer Science in 2011 and had 1 year gap in searching for job. And then I started to do MBA and now I'm in my final year. Im doing my MBA in Marketing and HR.

Now, I would like to do SAP Course especially in BI, if not in HCM or SD or Basic depending on the job market.

I would appreciate if you can guide me through is it worth doing a course because I have seen many post online where people are telling, Freshers don't job in SAP even also even after doing Certification from SAP Certified centres.

Also read, some people suggesting to go on with FAKE experience certificate. Anyway its not my thought nor a goo way to start my life.

So please do suggest me, is it worth to do being a fresher and also whether it is good to do from SAP Certified centre or normal centres at cheap price. I do understand that SAP Certified institutes cost more, but finally its all about placement who can do better.

Thanks for your support

Hello Sir,

Thanks for your nice words. Not only SAP Basis, getting job in any technology as a fresher is very tough due to limited opportunities and vast competition. I would suggest you to network with other Senior sap basis consultants or project managers who are working in different companies and request them to let you know incase of any openings. You need to demonstrate flexibility to recruiters like willingness to work in any location, any shift etc. at least till you get enough experience in SAP Basis. Any job opportunity, you need to grab with both hands without worrying much about salary/compensation or company. Of course, once you get sufficient real time exposure, then you can actually look for desired location/compensation/shift etc. Wish you all the best in your job pursuit.

Hi Sir,

Your blog is really helpful. I am new to sap basis and I want to know how to copy SAP application server in another system/computer without installation. I need this because if anything happens to my server I can use SAP application from another harrddrive/system. Please help me with this.
If possible please mail me @ deepthikarnati11@gmail.com

Hi Prasad Garu,

First of all i would like to thank you and appreciate you for taking your valuable time in publishing crystal clear information for SAP Basis folks. I have been struggling to learn concepts on my own (As many institutes that i joined has half knowledge and misleading) till date, doing my own R&D on my desktop, ofcourse with the help of Forums and blogs like yours. Strangely , even in Expensive SAP press books i dint find in-detail information. SAP is an Ocean especially basis.

Do you take online training? If yes, then do you provide module specific training. For ex: what are the things that a sap basis guy should know in CRM. Things like installation, configuration, integration and troubleshooting.

I am actually looking module specific training. The project i am working currently has many new modules ..PI,SCM,TM,BOBJ,IS/DS. So i am very much confused to the core.

Once again a very big thank you for sharing your knowledge ( which normally many geeks dont do). Please let me know at the earliest.
